The Best Time to Trade — Hint: It’s Not When You Think

by | May 22, 2022

Trading’s been tough this year. If you’re struggling, you’re probably not alone.

It’s not your fault. The economy’s been in a rut as inflation has taken its toll. We’ve all noticed the prices at the pump go up.

But some traders can soften the blow by profiting in this market.

And here’s the best part…

There are only one or two time frames I’m watching for plays. That means I don’t have to stare at my computer all day.

If there isn’t a setup, I don’t trade. It’s that easy.

Keep reading to learn how — and when — I’m watching for plays…

Why You’re Losing

Most traders start losing when they force trades.

And it’s really easy to overtrade in a slow market like this one.

I’m bored watching the charts right now because I don’t see anything I like.

But that’s how it should feel. I don’t let FOMO lure me in. I sit on my hands until I see a perfect play.

It’s important to understand that, even when I see a setup I like, we’re still in a slow market. So the stock’s probably not gonna spike as high. That’s why you’ve gotta establish realistic goals.

I was talking to my students about this in a recent live stream webinar. I told them the exact moment to take profits in this market.

If you missed the lesson, don’t worry. It’s archived … you can still go back and watch it.

Here’s When I Buy and Sell

It happens fast. Some of my day trades only last a few minutes. But that’s the beauty of using my strategy in this market. I sit in cash so I’m not stressed about any open position.

The two most volatile times to trade right now are: the first hour of the market (9:30-10:30 a.m. Eastern) and the last hour (3:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern)

Volatility is key for day traders. That’s how 36% profits are possible …

Keep in mind that this trade was from 2020 when the market was really hot.

But don’t worry, the hot market will come back someday.

That’s why it’s the perfect time to learn how to trade! Speaking of that …
